DO IT NOW

Social projects

Do It Now is an informational and educational campaign that aims to motivate young couples and families to think about the best time to become parents. The organization believes that demography is Bulgaria's future big issue, and the birth rate is at its core, along with emigration.

In the last seven years, it directed the media and public attention to the demographic problems in our country, furthermore 6 specific changes in the environment and legislation proposals were submitted to the Council of Ministers, so that more children are born in Bulgaria.

In 2019, we held open meetings in major cities, with the aim of bringing awareness among young people about the consequences of postponing the decision to have a child and why it is important to plan their family in time.

We successfully built on what was started in 2016, and in the pursuit of tangible efficiency and real results, the DNK documentary Do It Now: A Tale of the Future, was created with author Petya Dikova. The project is the first of its kind in the country and presents different points of view on demographic issues in our homeland. In 2021, we took on the challenge of creating the first online series in Bulgaria dedicated to the topic of timely parenting. 40 weeks - the path of a child followed the lives of four women who decided that the time to become mothers had come.

The series aims to inspire all young families and couples of childbearing ages who are hesitating or postponing the birth of children, to support those who are already waiting for an heir, to be a support to all current parents, but also to prepare future parents with useful tips to calmly welcome the new family member. The focus of the fifth edition of the Do It Now campaign is directed at educated and economically active young Bulgarians, who rarely receive support in terms of raising their children.

Uniting companies from the children's industry, for the third year in a row in 2022 the campaign presents Baby DNK packages to 20 Bulgarian families. More than 60 families have received help by the initiative.
