In 2001, on the air of Nova TV, the tandem Ivan and Andrey threw down the gauntlet to everyone who wanted to face them in a different, unprecedented and very entertaining battle. It's a prime-time format where viewers are pitted against the iconic hosts. The two undergo serious physical training for endurance, agility and dexterity, and the show is a great success. At the very first casting, over 5,000 people responded to Ivan and Andrey's invitation to face them in a direct duel in the new game. Among them are former and current athletes, stuntmen, climbers, police officers and ordinary people with an adrenaline to spare. Krum Savov appeared as a commentator on the spectacular game show, which is being held for the first time in our country. The sports journalist is tasked to closely monitor the play of the hosts and their opponents and to dissect their mistakes. On the other hand, it helps the spectators to understand the regulation and the course of the games themselves.
However, the most beautiful addition to Ivan and Andrey's team is definitely their assistant Liana, who most people know as a folk singer. Only few know that she is a former athlete and in 1994 and 1995 was the Republican champion in 800 meters for women.
Ivan & Andrey’s Evening show
TV show
The Ivan and Andrey’s Show is a classic late-night talk show. It is broadcast on Nova TV every weekday evening from 22:00. The show released two successful seasons in the period 2009-2011.
Unlike all the other classic evening talk shows (The David Letterman Show, The Conan O'Brien Show, etc. in the USA, How to Get Them... with Todor Kolev, The Slavi Show, The Show of Azis in Bulgaria) it is the only one that is realized by two hosts.
The show relies mainly on socio-political satire and interviews with famous people. In addition to traditional for the genre comments of the hosts, sketches with actors, video reports and musical performances of the band, The Show of Ivan and Andrey also includes many innovations for Bulgaria. Among them are, the dubbing of politicians and a TV cartoon.
